Demolition 1 takes great pride in the high rate of recycling we are able to obtain with construction and demolition waste. We are known in the industry for our ability to recycle large percentages of materials from demolition jobs. Gib-board is used as an additive to bark and mulch to lower acidity, concrete is crushed for reuse on site eliminating importation resources from outside. Wherever possible we will reuse or recycle materials - waste minimization is a high priority for us when it comes to building waste disposal. 

In one of our largest jobs - the Old Napier Hospital demolition - we achieved a 97% rate of recycling.
